While each session has a specific theme, we always offer circus arts, lots of time outside, visual art and space to work on a collaborative performance at the end of the week. Storycamp is a child-directed program; when kids are especially excited about something, their interest helps shape the curriculum.

Aftercare is available until 5PM for an additional $10/HR

Session 1:
June 11th - June 15th
Space Bugs!

When we find out the alien insects from a neighboring galaxy are being threatened, we must learn to communicate with them and help them find a new home.

Stop motion animation, field tripping to different ecosystems, and costume building to help better understand the camoflauge of our extra terrestrial friends.

Session 2:
June 18th - June 22nd
Journey to Mount Mythos

Here is your chance to become part of the story. Make maps of the lands we imagine. Build your own hero. In this world we learn to speak with animals, ride horses (we actually do that), develop skills specific to your character and, with a team of champions, overcome the darkness that threatens our freedom.

Session 3:
June 25th - June 29th
Trash to Transportation

Once again we delve into a world of possibility, creating opportunities for invention, technological development and artistic expression with what we throw away. This time around, let’s make and fix things that move - bicycles, skateboards, hoverboards, old buses?

Session 4:
July 9th - July 13th
Circus As You Like It

Become part of our circus troop when we design a performance that is served alongside a thrilling menu. Create a wild costume and curate a lunchtime dinner theater that may have a spooky twist! Puppetry, aerial dance, juggling, unicycling, partner acrobatics, and cooking.

Session 5:
July 16th - July 20th
Survive in the Wild

Connect with nature and learn skills that help you take care of yourself in the wild. This year we will again venture into the mountains to learn what plants are edible, how to build fires, archery, knot-tying, structure building and more.

Session 6:
July 23rd- July 27th
Spooky Circus

What is the scariest thing about summer? Missing Storycamp.  Come celebrate Halloween in summer with fun costumes, theater and circus art!

Partner acrobatics, aerial, juggling, stilt-walking, building, installation art, immersive theater, film, puppetry, face painting, character development

Session 7:
July 29th - July 30th
Wild at Heart
Location TBD

This is an opportunity for girls to connect and build confidence in nature.

Session 8:
August 13th - August 17th
