Grades: Entering 2nd - 7th
Hours: 8:30 - 3:30/ Monday - Friday
Dates: June 12th - August 11th (No camp July 3rd - 7th)
Girl's Overnight Camp: Entering 6th - 8th grades /August 11th - 13th
This summer, due to changing structure with the early childhood camp, we are offering one week sessions and also a three-day overnight camping trip for girls in August.
Session 1:
June 12th - June 16th
How do we connect with, live among and care for animals in a changing environment? Discovering the incredible diversity of creatures around us.

Outdoor adventures, horseback riding, farm experience, tracking, plant/ animal identification
Field trips may include: The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Superfun Farm, Horseback Riding
*note: there will be a $50 fee increase with this session due to the cost of field trips
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (In Colorado)

Session 2:
June 19th - June 23rd
Superhero Theater
What is a hero? Playing with new ways to embody this role. Bringing people together through live theater and games. Telling collective stories through physical performance, puppetry and film.
Aerial and circus art, film, community performance, interactive scavenger hunts, improvisation, archetypes

Field trips may include: Pearl Street, Parkour Studio, Hiking
Session 3:
June 26th - June 30th
The Great Time Machine: Wild West
Help us build a time machine and travel to the past. Learn about our history by making it.

Live action role play, radio storytelling, paleontology, photography, blacksmithing, horseback riding, archery

Field trips may include:
History Colorado Center, Artist Studios (blacksmithing), Hiking, Horseback Riding, KGNU
Session 4:
July 10th - July 14th
The Secret Aquarium
Explore the mysteries of rivers, lakes and oceans, discover worlds beneath the surface. This week we will play in the water and learn about the marine ecosystems in our community and beyond.

Session 5:
July 17th - July 21st
Spooky Circus​
What is the scariest thing about summer? Missing Storycamp. Come celebrate Halloween in summer with fun costumes, theater and circus art!
Partner acrobatics, aerial, juggling, stilt-walking, building, installation art, immersive theater, film, puppetry, face painting, character development

Session 6:
July 24th - July 28th
The Great Time Machine: Spaceships and Cyborgs
Travel with us to the future and imagine our changing environment. Invent and document the ideas we will use to build the future.
Robotics, live action role play, film making, radio, photography, documenting, problem solving

Session 7:
July 31st - August 4th
Trash 2 Treasure 2​
Once again we delve into a world of possibility, creating opportunities for invention, technological development and artistic expression with what we throw away.
Sculpture art, using recycled materials to build structures and art, environmental awareness, taking things apart and learning how they work

Field trips may include: Resource 2000, Artist Studios (welding, woodworking), Playground Tour
Session 8:
August 7th - August 11th
Survive in the Wild
Connect with nature and learn skills that help you take care of yourself in the wild.
Fire-making, building shelters, campfire storytelling, foraging, outdoor cooking, archery, orienteering, knife handling, knot-tying, canoeing
